Each and every summer, we bring some of the finest Jewish performers to Jacobs Camp, and this summer is no exception!
Steve Dropkin has been a Jacobs regular, including having spent two as our camp songleader (and, in so doing, greatly enhancing our music program overall). In addition to a concert the first full week of camp, Steve will also be leading a music chug, and working closely with our K'tanim, Kochavim & Olim campers. We're very excited to welcome Steve back to Jacobs!
After his triumphant Road to Eden Tour through the Deep South last fall, Dan Nichols is excited to return to Jacobs. Dan is a definite camp favorite, always delivering a rousing, energetic concert featuring so many of his songs that are beloved by campers and staff members. We are thrilled that Dan will be here for the Fourth of July, with his show capping off what is sure to be an amazing Americafest! Celebration.
We are thrilled to welcome Alan Goodis for his first Jacobs Camp performance. A product of URJ Camps, Alan is known as a tireless performer who always delivers a high energy show. Though his music may be unfamiliar to our campers now, after they hear him, we are certain they will be singing his songs for years to come.
And, it just wouldn't be a summer at Jacobs without an appearance by the Israeli Scout Friendship Caravan! This traveling troupe of young adults always delivers a high energy, inspiring and educational musical salute to Israel and to friendship. We are thrilled that they will kickoff the final week of our summer season.
