Outdoor Adventure Specialist (In-Cabin)

Is responsible for technical and programmatic support of the Adventure Department Head; including but not limited to ropes course setup and takedown, mountain bike prep, supervision during campouts, safety of food preparation, and waterfront supervision.
Qualifications
- Preferred 21 years of age or older
- Available to attend a ropes course training prior to the summer.
- Prior outdoor adventure experience; prefferably challenge course and high ropes course experience.
- Proficency in navigation, backpacking, mountain biking, watercraft and group dynamics
- Prior camping experience.
- Energetic, flexible, creative, organized and posses good people skills.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Adventure Department Head inventory, maintain, setup and takedown challenge course and high ropes course equiptment.
- Be avaliable to be a support teacher for various outdoor skill activities, and lead them if necessary.
- Follows all Camp, ACA, and AACT guidelines for course activities.
- Able to supervise safe food hanlding and preparation during campouts.
- Able and willing to work with a variety of staff members in a calm, collected manner at all times.
